Mus's ArchiveI'm working on a close range mobile communications app that will rely on bluetooth for sending messages instead of using the internet. I decided to call my app "Campfire" as I believe its best use case is to be able to send messages around a campfire without any service.
Read more →I recently bought a flipper zero which has a Bad USB functionality similar to Rubber Ducky USB's. I'm going to use this feature to construct a reverse shell attack to take control of other people's computers. 😈

In my Networks & Protocols class we were talking about how network devices work together to avoid "collisions" with each other when transmitting data over the air. I was thinking of ways to exploit this and was wondering if I removed the mechanisms inside the wifi dongle meant to negotiate the transfer of data and collisions with other devices, would I affectivley turn the wifi device into a jammer? By removing this functionality, the network interface would constantly fill the air with its traffic, affectively generating a bunch of noise for devices on the same frequency. Perhaps I could modify the drivers for the dongle to accomplish this? I would have to be careful around the university since it's government property and I could get into serious trouble if I do it near their network. 🤔
